Åmänningens FVO

Lake Åmänningen is Västmanland's largest lake after Lake Mälaren and Hjälmaren. It is located in Fagersta municipality in Bergslagen with Engelsberg's mill, one of Sweden's world heritage, as its nearest neighbor.

In the lake is the famous Oil Island with the world's only preserved oil refinery from the 19th century. Åmänningen is on 2260 hectares with about 30 islands.

The lake has plenty of pike, pikeperch and perch and there is also salmon trout and lake.
