Ansjö FVO is located midway between Sundsvall and Östersund. Here you can find trout, char, pike, perch, whitefish, roach, and roach.
Here you can take a boat ride from Lake Ansjön via the middle lake to Lake Övsjön. In all three waters there is the possibility of catching large pike and perch.
Trout and char have been planted in the lake for all the years since fish farming started, and trout are planted in the backwater lake.
There are also two lakes at Vallsjön, the Täckelsjöarna. There is a pond, Persjulstjärn, with the possibility of renting a cottage (150 SEK/day). There are trout in this pond, which is open during the summer.
When fishing or moving your boat, you should be careful not to damage nature and spread invasive species, so please watch this informational film.
The purpose of our fisheries management association is to actively care for and preserve the fish stocks in our waters, and to promote their sustainable growth. By engaging members and spreading knowledge about sustainable fishing, we strive to ensure that our waters remain rich and viable for future generations. Our association works to create a community where everyone can enjoy fishing and nature in a responsible way.
