Klintforsåns övre Fvof

The area is located adjacent to Boliden, 30 kilometers inland from Skellefteå. Here you will find many different types of water.
The area encompasses the water system from Svanström (Klintforsån) in the east to Bergtjärnen (towards Jörn) in the west.
Saunaträsket and Stortjärn outside Boliden are also included.
The fisheries management area manages four windbreaks, they are located at Klintforsån (just upstream of Svanström), two at Stortjärn (the islet, north side and by the boathouses, south side) and one at Bastuträsket inside Kankberg. Klintforsån offers sparkling streams with vegetation and many campsites.
Parts of the Klintofrsån River are closed to fishing to promote growth.
We also have a fishing ban during spawning periods.
All trout and grayling caught in Klintforsån must be released.
Bastuträsket is a large lake, together with Stortjärnen, almost 8 km long (as the crow flies) and 27 meters deep. Here you can find perch, pike. Also roach, roach, and chub. Previously, there have been abundant whitefish. Trout has been introduced into the lake. There is a boat ramp at the rest area between Bastuträsket and Stortjärnen.
