Marma-Mehede FVOF

The fishery conservation area of approximately 2300ha, between Untra power plant and Älvkarleby power plant , is included in the last large delta area of the Dalälven before the river meets the sea. We offer visitors both good fishing and nature experiences. The Båtfors nature reserve is partly affected by the fishery conservation area.

The water is rich in pike, zander and perch, but also contains many species of "whitefish".

Work is underway to enable ocean-migrating fish to move up the Dalälven River.

Good opportunities to launch your boat, among others, in Marma, Mehedeby and Lindbergsviken about 1km west of Älvkarleö.

There are very varying depth conditions. Everything from the old stretch of the riverbed to large dammed reed areas. Our maps that we sell can be helpful in finding your way around the area.
