The fishery management area is part of Lake Uttran and Utterkalven, which is located in Botkyrka municipality. The terrain around the lake is residential areas, forests and mountains. Lake Uttran is a fairly large lake and is 16 meters deep at its deepest.

In Uttran there are perch, bream, bream, pike, zander and roach. The perch population in particular is in good condition and has large individuals.

Please note that not the entire lake is included in the fishing license, see the boundaries on the map. The lakes are relatively eutrophic and are not expected to reach the set environmental status goals on time, especially not with regard to eutrophic substances, mercury and certain brominated flame retardants.
Despite this, measured values are below the limits for what is considered suitable food in fish from the lakes.

Uttran's water flows via the Tumba River into Albysjön to Lake Mälaren and then into the Baltic Sea.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 17.
The keeper must have taken note of and approved the applicable fishing rules and regulations.

Uttrans FVF

The purpose of Uttrans Fiskevårdsförening is to promote recreational fishing and rationally manage the fishing waters that the association leases. Our fishing waters include part of Lake Uttran and Utterkalven. Uttrans Fiskevårdsförening was formed in 1942. We play an important role in the surrounding municipalities' work to improve the water quality in the lakes. Our most important work is to promote sport fishing and outdoor activities in the area.
