About the water
Ellenö-Östersjön FVF is located in southwest Dalsland and is known for its fine zander fishing, but also plenty of pike.
Lake Ellenösjön has an area of 310 ha. Ellenösjön is shallow and nutrient-rich with a clay bottom. Valboån has both its inlet and outlet here. A narrow strait divides the lakes and Lake Östersjön with its 140 ha, is deeper with inflows from more nutrient-poor streams.
