The Emsen is a shallow and nutrient-rich lake with a varied population of pike-perch. In addition to pike-perch, there are pike, perch and a rich population of whitefish.

Lillsjön can be found directly adjacent to RV 62 south of Olsäter. The stock consists mainly of pike, perch and whitefish.

Emsen and Lillsjön are located west of RV 62 north of Deje. To get to Emsen, turn onto the exit road towards Västsjö and you will arrive at a barbecue area with good fishing spots after 600-700 m.

Emsen-Lillsjöns FVOF

The association manages the fishing in Emsen and Lillsjön, north of Deje.
A fisheries management plan exists and with the help of students from the Sportfishing Academy, 8 rice vases have been built since 2012.
Extensive algal blooms often occur during the summer, which negatively affects fishing.
