Fiskestadsjön / Kroksjöns

The lakes Fiskestadsjön and Kroksjön are part of the Bräkneån water system and are located just east/south of Väckelsång. The lakes together cover approximately 525 ha, of which Fiskestadsjön is approximately 500 ha. The average depth is approximately 1.2 meters with a maximum depth of approximately 3 meters.

Fiskestadsjön is historically known for its good supply of large pike. At Sandgårdslandet in the northeastern part of the lake there is an easily accessible launching site. It is also possible to launch a boat at Kåranäs holiday village (entrance from road 27, about 3 km south of Väckelsång). The availability of fishing in Kroksjön is limited.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 17.
