Frissjön is a typical Småland forest lake with vegetation along the shore. The lake has several small islands, shallow bottoms and deep caves.
The 332-hectare lake is a clear water lake, low in nutrients with a maximum depth of 25.5 meters. Spinning and angling are the most popular fishing methods in Frissjön.

Fishing rights owner
Frissjöns Fiskevårdsområdesförening bildades 1985 genom att samtliga fiskevattenägare bildade föreningen.
Syftet är att samordna hur fisket bedrivs och att upplåta fiske till allmänheten. Föreningens målsättning är att tillse att Frissjöns håller en god vattenkvalité genom att följa de provtagningar som görs och eventuellt komplettera dem.
