All our lakes have good and clean fishing waters. Boat moorings are available at both Halasjön and Greningssjön. We lease approximately 75 percent of Halasjön through the Solberg-Vikens fvo, the upper northwestern part of Halasjön does not belong to any fisheries management area. However, there are fishing rights for Kilen property and landowners. We also lease Baksjön through the Solberg-Vikens fvo. There are also trout in some rivers and streams. Access by car is good to most of our fishing waters, but to get to the south side of Halasjön by car, a boom key is required.
PURPOSE The purpose of the association is to have a long-term plan regarding fisheries management and fishing and to facilitate cooperation with neighboring fisheries management area associations regarding shared waters. OBJECTIVE The objective is to promote the common interests of fishing right holders, taking into account the regulations that apply to the practice of fishing. Coordinate fisheries management and the conduct of fishing. Provide fishing to local residents and the public through the sale of fishing licenses. Since 1948, pike fry, perch, whitefish and salmon trout have been introduced. As well as grayling, the last introduction was in 1998 when 8,000 grayling roe were released. In the fishing waters of Greningssjön and Halasjön there are pike, perch, roach and whitefish. The fisheries management area and the formation of the association took place in 1993.
