Hagfors fiskevårdskrets

Most of the lakes and ponds in Hagfors municipality are included.
The exceptions are marked on our Fishing Map.

There are, among others, perch, pike, zander and whitefish and valuable fish in certain waters that are included in the circuit board.
The terrain and conditions are very varied. Several lakes have forests around the water and some have wetlands adjacent to them.

At some lakes there may be barbecue areas and even boats for rent.
It gives you the opportunity to try your luck in different environments.

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
When purchasing a fishing license, children under 16 fish for free. Only rod fishing, and when fishing from a boat, one line/person and license applies.

Hagfors Fiskevårdskrets

We are an umbrella organization where about twenty FVOFs are connected to our Fisheries Management Area Circle.
We sell a circuit fishing card that is valid for the fishing waters of the affiliated associations.
We distribute the income to the member associations every year. The statutes were adopted on 1993-03-15. The purpose of the circle is • to work for good cooperation between the fisheries management organizations within Hagfors municipality, • to promote good fisheries management within the municipality through information, study circles and collaborative projects such as liming, tourist fishing licenses and the like, • to work for good cooperation with the municipality and larger common landowners in matters of a fisheries conservation nature, • to support and work for the formation of fisheries conservation areas, • to act as a referral body in current and common issues.
