Helgum-Gådeåns FVOF

Fishing near urban areas for, among other things, sea trout, which includes the Gådeån and Helgumsån rivers as well as Nässjön.

Fishing in the rivers is open:
Fishing in the rivers opens annually April 10 - September 14. Closed for spawning until October 15.
Fishing in Lake Nässjön is open all year round.

It's close to town, but another thing that's fun about this water is that the Helgums and Gådeåån fisheries conservation area is restoring it to improve the conditions for sea trout and their reproduction.

The trail following the Gådeån River is a popular walking and recreational route. The area includes the popular Gådeåleden (5.5km) which is signposted and has barbecue areas, shelters, benches and other experiences such as historical sites, a lookout tower and a butterfly bed.
