Silence, peace and quiet are sought by many. Hökensås Sportfiske has since 1957 pursued sports fishing tourism in the area. Here on the urbergsback Hökensås, about 45 km north of Jönköping and 15 km so about Tidaholm, there is the silence. The area has a strong feature of the inland icecases, where powerful sand dams have shaped the area of hills and death pits. Many lakes are crystal clear spring lakes, but there are also forest stars with darker waters. The crust is a character bird in the area where big lion and black-haired dung is also hedging, but also pearl owl, feather and chop thrive. Nature is reminiscent of the lower pine forest areas of Lower Norway with its rugged form. Hökensås Sportfiske offers fishing mainly after rainbow, trout and char. In essence, we put out rainbow, but trout is also added continuously in all waters. The ratio of 80% rainbow and 20% trout is a balance we try to keep. In some lakes there are also natural stocks of pike, perch, roar and hunter.
The fishery is mainly carried out from land and watering works in most places. There are also docks at some lakes, two of which have disabled access bridges. There is also the possibility to rent a boat in five lakes in the area.
The lakes are divided by fishing - fly fishing, spin fishing and mete. Some lakes are quoted and are only for fly fishing, some are rent lakes and can be hired for companies or companies. In winter, pimp fishing is carried out in all the coastal lakes, but not in the quota lakes or the lakes.
