Hornborgasjön, Hornborgaåns utlopp
Welcome to Hornborga Skifteslag's part of Hornborga Lake and the outlet of Hornborga River!
Hornborgasjön is a very shallow lake located in the middle of Hornborgasjön Nature Reserve. Due to the shallow water and active bird life, the water can sometimes become murky. The lake is known for holding large fish such as pike, ide and tench.
Note that during dry seasons the water level may be low.
It is possible to rent a boat.
Please respect our fishing rules so that we can care for our fish stocks!

Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota)
Children up to 13 years of age can fish freely in the company of a paying adult.

Hornborga Skifteslag is an older association that was formed in connection with legal change in 1855.
At present, fishing, apart from some smaller events, is the most active in the shift. The probate's goal is to be able to increase fishing opportunities in Lake Hornborgasjön for fishing and nurture the existing fish stock.
