

In our P&T waters, fish are planted during the summer months, as well as a winter planting in two lakes after the autumn closure.

In Delångersån downstream of Ölsundsbron (Upströms Forsa FVO) you can fish from a boat, mainly Pike and Perch but also Zander. Sea trout has migration opportunities all the way up to the Forsas lakes. In Nianforsån there are mainly Trout.
A project to reintroduce grayling into the Nianån River was started in the summer of 2025 by planting 3,000 yearlings in selected locations along the river.
Restoration projects after timber rafting are underway in parts, and the Sofieholm hydroelectric power plant, which previously prevented migration from the sea, was taken out of operation in 2017 and sea trout can migrate up the river, with the possibility of migrating all the way to the Niansjöarna lakes.
Iggesunds Sportfiskeklubb ISFK is responsible for the fishing waters in the Nianforsån and Nedre Delångersån fisheries management areas, as well as 4 Put&Take lakes within the fvo't.

Some P&T lakes have disabled access, piers and wind shelters are available to varying degrees. There is also a large cabin for rent at Hornsjön.
There is everything from small, hard-to-reach streams with brown trout and brook char to larger waters such as Nianforssjöarna, Mjuggsjön, Skarplyckasjön, Iggsjön, Pappersavan and Vikarsjön with fine perch, pike and a smaller population of pikeperch and trout.
