The crayfish fishing license TDA-4

TDA-4 offers crayfish fishing opportunities in Lake Mälaren and one evening a year in many of the smaller lakes around Stockholm. All income goes to fisheries conservation and fish stocks in Stockholm County, read more in our fishing info which can be downloaded on this page.

For crayfish fishing, a fishing license is always required.

Welcome to our TDA areas!

The City of Stockholm's fisheries management works continuously with fisheries management to create sustainable stocks and fishing opportunities in Mälaren and the archipelago. Fisheries management is primarily about improving the opportunities for fish species to naturally spawn and grow up. The city also participates in planting out sea trout, salmon, zander and pike every year. The city collaborates regionally with many stakeholders and fishing water owners to allow fishing and to carry out fisheries management and fisheries supervision.

The city of Stockholm offers the TDA fishing license which is valid for Trolling, Trolling and Angelfishing (ice fishing) in several areas in Mälaren and in the archipelago as well as crayfish fishing via the Kräftfiskekortet (TDA-4).
All income from fishing licenses goes to fisheries conservation in Stockholm County.

Extra support for fisheries management

By purchasing the Fishery conservation sticker or the TDA fishing card, you can contribute to increased fishery and biotope conservation.
The fisheries management sticker costs SEK 200, which is deposited into the sports administration's plusgiro 155 89 79-9.
