Our fishing waters

Upplands-Bro municipality has more than 27 kilometers of beaches. This makes the municipality one of the most interesting for fishing in the county. It includes several smaller lakes and Lake Mälaren. For Kungsängen's Sportfiskeklubb we refer to Lillsjön, Örnässjön.

Little Lake

Lillsjön is so-called park fishing with many activities around the lake. For example, a rich and active outdoor life with exercise tracks around the lake, frisbee golf course nearby and group gymnastics/yoga/physical training. In addition, there is a swimming beach with beach service during spring until autumn, also open on certain winter days. There are also toilets in the catering building. Around Lillsjön there are houses of the single-family house type. When fishing in Lillsjön, fishing from land or renting KSFK's club boat applies. (for members only)
ATTENTION! It is not allowed to fish at the swimming area. See Upplands-Bro municipality's posted signs. (it is not visible on the map below)

In Lake Lillsjön you can have exciting fishing for large pike (the record is 9.8 kg), large perch (record 1.1 kg), Vimma, Mört, Sarv, Bream and Sutare. Since 2010, Kungsängen's Sportfiskeklubb has been stocking rainbow trout with an average weight of 1 kg to 4 kg

For all fishing, one (1) fishing rod/fishing license applies. Fishing with several tackled fishing rods at the same time is prohibited.

Recommends shrimp/worm float fishing, spin fishing with Toby-like drags and fly fishing with bushy and moving streamers.

Kungsängen's Sportfishing Club values that you visit the natural area and care for it by not littering or otherwise endangering the environment.

Since 2018, the area has been part of a nature reserve and stricter laws apply since then.

NOTE Only permitted to fish with a fishing license and via membership within the marked area.
Other only for residents on that part.

During winter fishing
Only members of the Kungsängens Sportfiskeklubb are allowed to fish in Lillsjön. When fishing, a maximum of 10 anglers applies. Pimple fishing is permitted for non-members against the purchase of a fishing license. All catches must be reported to info@ksfk.nu .

Örnässjön

When fishing in Örnässjön, fishing from shore applies. There are steep depths at the beaches of about 2.5-3 meters directly outside the rock cliffs and beaches. In Lake Örnässjön you fish for large pike (the record is 8.7 kg), large perch (record 1.2 kg), Vimma, Mört, Sarv, Bream and large Bream.

Recommend fishing with casting float with shrimp/worm, spin fishing with wobblers. Fishing from a boat is not permitted in Örnässjön.

For all fishing, one (1) fishing rod/fishing license applies. Fishing with several tackled fishing rods at the same time is prohibited.

Kungsängen's Sportfishing Club values that you who visit the natural area also care for it by not littering or otherwise endangering the environment.

The entire Örnässjön applies from 2023!
NOTE Fishing restrictions apply April-October closer than 50 meters from the bird peninsula.

Lillsjön 500-1000 kg Rainbow are put in Lillsjön every year.
