The Långsele river is a great river for trout- and grayling fishing, especially for fly fishing!

The summer pike. Until 31 August, you can take part in the competition to catch the river's longest pike.
A measuring stick for measuring the pike is available at Posten in Högland. The pike is measured and photographed.

Youth class: Up to and including 16 years. Adult class: From 17 years and up.
1st prize SEK 3,000, 2nd prize SEK 2,000, 3rd prize SEK 1,000 in each class.

The association manages the fishing in Långsele-Högland's fishery area in Dorotea parish and municipality, Västerbotten County.
