Lassesjö consists of two parts, Lassesjö which is 67 ha in size with a maximum depth of 6.6 m and Lillesjö which is 35 ha in size with a maximum depth of 2.2 m. Lassesjö is one of Viskan's source lakes. It has brown, humus-rich water that was previously acidified but has been limed since 1988. Perch, pike, roach, tench and eel are found there.
