The fishing area covers approximately 20 km of the Swedish Torne River within Pajala municipality. The fishing area is a section of the Erkheikki/Juhonpieti fishing conservation area and the Peräjävaara Village Association. Fishing is mainly focused on salmon, trout and grayling during the summer months of June to August. The fishing water is easily accessible from county road no. 395, starting approximately 6 km northwest of the municipal center of Pajala. The river stretch consists of alternating rapids with calm flowing water and some smaller rapids with slightly stronger currents.

 Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.

The association was formed about 25 years ago with the aim of attracting fishing-interested tourists from the Nordics and the rest of Europe. Preserve a viable stock of salmon, salmon trout and other noble fish. The fishing area is a section of the Erkheikki/Juhonpieti fishing management area and Peräjävaara Village Association. The organization number is the same as for Peräjävaara village association, i.e. 897601-0556.
