The Lower Moälven fishing conservation area association manages the fishing within the fishing conservation area, which consists of Veckefjärden, Själevadsfjärden, Happstafjärden, part of Moälven, Huggsjön, Svarttjärnen, Mycklingstjärnen, Hörnsjön, Hamptjärn, Vitsjön, Åtesjön, Norrtjärnssjön, Båtsmanstjärnen, as well as other ponds, rivers and streams within the Lower Moälven fishing conservation area.
The fishing conservation area is one of the county's most interesting fishing areas, with, among other things, pike perch and an increasing population of sea trout. Within the fishing conservation area there are also two lakes where put-and-take fishing is conducted, partly Svarttjärnen which is leased by Storfiskarna and partly Hamptjärn.
