NOTE: At water temperatures above 18 degrees C, FVOF advises against fishing for trout.

Fishing season in Mölndalsån April 1 – September 30.

ZONE 1 - Västra Nedsjön to Ryaviadukten: Fly fishing only.
ZONE 2 - Ryaviaduct to Snåkeredsbron/Chalmers Golf Club:
Fishing with a rod held by hand is a permitted method.

The money from fishing licenses goes to biotope conservation/fish conservation efforts in the river to primarily benefit the trout.
In addition to the money, the work is primarily based on non-profit efforts and we have a couple of work meetings each year.
