Welcome to Malingsbo-Kloten's natural water!

With its 50,000 hectares, it is the largest protected area in the country outside the mountains. Malingsbo-Kloten is a large, scenic coniferous forest area in highland and hilly terrain, with scattered bogs, lakes and streams that offer good opportunities for fishing and outdoor activities. The area is shared by three counties; Västmanland, Dalarna and Örebro. The easiest way to get here is via road 233 between Skinnskatteberg and Kopparberg.

Natural fishing Malingsbo-Kloten is divided into two different types of fishing waters, Blue water and Yellow water:

Blue waters
Here we offer fishing for mainly pike and perch, but also for whitefish. Some "blue waters" to mention are Stora Korslången, Långvattnet and Malingsbosjön which are known for their large pike.

Yellow waters
In the "yellow waters" we offer intimate fly fishing for trout, especially in the upper headwaters of the Hedströmmen . Here only the "catch and release principle" (C&R) applies, meaning that all fish are released again. These highly interesting natural waters are valuable for all anglers who do not put the catch in the form of number of fish and kilos primarily on their wish list.
