Lake Ömmeln is beautifully situated in an undisturbed environment. Abundant occurrence of pike and perch.
Salmon, eel, zander and roach are also found.
The lake is excellent for both angling and trolling.
Ömmeln's clean water makes the fish excellent for food. Last year, record weights of pike 14 kg and perch 1.5 kg were known. A suitable place to dock a boat is at Hugnerud, see map.
