Eastern and Western Salmon Lakes are the largest in the area.

Östra Laxsjön has very clear water and is home to some stocked trout.
Västra Laxsjön has slightly darker water due to runoff from bogs and smaller lakes. There are sporadic pike perch after previous stocking.

The association's area of operation is the lakes leased by Sveaskog under a special agreement. The following lakes are included in the lease, all located in Örebro County: Bodarnesjön (with the exception of the shale-type Backgården water area) , Lången (with the exception of the shale-type Långstorp and Långsbråten water area) , Kråksjön, Gräsmosjön, Västra Laxsjön, Östra Laxsjön, Grytsjön and Örkaggen (with the exception of the shale-type Dammens and Aspamarken water area) and Mosjön

Free fishing for children and adolescents up to the age of 15.
However, the same rules apply to children and young people as when buying a fishing license

Laxåsjöarna fish conservation association manages a total of over 8 lakes.
The goal of selling fishing licenses in the Laxsjöarnas Fiskevårdsförening is to develop fishing in our lakes, and to get more people out in our fantastic environment. Much of the money that comes in is spent on fishing/water conservation for the various waters.
