Welcome to Stavreströmmen and Gimån!

Övre Gimåns Fiskevårdsområde offers fishing in flowing water.

We can offer magnificent nature and fly and spin fishing for big trout and very nice grayling, in Bräcke municipality which is part of eastern Jämtland. Our streams are highly sought after fishing waters in both Sweden, our neighboring countries and in several other countries in Europe.

The flowing water of the Upper Gimån is divided into different parts,
Stavreströmmen yellow card section 1 and green card section 2
Other streams, Bodsjöströmmen, Mellanströmmen and Kraftverksströmmen
The porridge stream

Fishing in the Stavre Stream

The water of the Stavre stream is in turn divided into two different sections: Yellow card - section 1, Green card - section 2.

Yellow card - stage 1
Fishing area 1, marked yellow on map.
Fly fishing only, 5 places/day.
The season runs from May 30th through August 31st.

• Old furrow

Green card - route 2
Fishing area 2, marked in green on the map.
Only fishing with fly rod and fly allowed, 5 places/day.
The season runs from May 30th through August 31st.

Other streams

The 24-hour pass is valid for those who want to fish in our other flowing waters in Gimån, except Stavreströmmen.

Bodsjöströmmen
Bodsjöströmmen is the uppermost of three streams between Bodsjön and Grötingssjön. Here there are fine pools with both large trout and grayling.

The middle stream
Mellanströmmen is the middle of three streams that lie between Nedre Bodsjön and Grötingssjön. Mellanströmmen is a slightly calmer stream, compared to Bodsjöströmmen, here you can catch large trout and grayling.

Power plant current
The power plant stream is the lowest of three streams on the stretch of Gimån between Bodsjön and Grötingssjön. It is home to fine trout and grayling.

The porridge stream
Grötingsströmmen is the outlet from Lake Grötingsjön and is an excellent grayling fishing water.
