Åby Älvs Nedre FVOF

 Please note that in 2026 there is a total quota of a maximum of 5 salmon and 5 trout for all fishermen within the lower FVO of the Åby River. If the quota is reached, only C&R fishing applies for the rest of the season.

In order to convert a daily pass into an annual pass, that is, to activate your fishing day, you must first purchase an annual pass.

The purpose of introducing daily cards for annual cards where the fisherman activates his fishing day is to facilitate communication to fishermen and reach out with important information such as that the quota for salmon or trout is full for the year or the fishery is closed due to too high water temperature. It is also a support to facilitate the management of the fishery within the Fisheries Conservation Area.
 NOTE!! This card can only be redeemed if you have or simultaneously purchase an annual card.

Calendar year, valid until December 31.

Remember to redeem your free daily pass for an annual pass, i.e. activate your fishing day when you go fishing to help the association with management and communication to you fishermen.

If you cannot exchange daily passes for annual passes, it may be because the temperature is 18 degrees or higher, meaning fishing has stopped in the river.

 NOTE!! You must purchase a free 24-hour pass when you go fishing.

Valid for the rest of the year, but not longer than until the age of 18.

When the quota(s) are filled, a notice will be issued stating that C&R fishing applies for the rest of the season. This means fishing is permitted but not keeping the fish.

Who can issue fishing permits?

1. Property owner with fishing rights (member of Åbyälvens fvof). If unsure whether the property has fishing rights, contact ordforande@abyalven.se. Enter name and property name

2. Spouse of property owner

3. Children over 18 years of age who are registered on the property to which the fishing right belongs, i.e. children living at home

4. New from 2024 is that the last date to renew the Fishing Permit for the season is May 31st.

 Solving a fishing right certificate without having a fishing right will be charged with a control fee!

This product is a card where, instead of fishing for the river, you can support the association's work to preserve and manage the fish stocks in the river.

Since this is a support card and not a fishing card, it does not give you the right to fish.
 Please note that this card does not give you the right to fish, but is only a card where you support our activities along the river.
