Rapatjärn is a pond about 600m x 50m, about 5 km outside the community of Arjeplog. The area is scenic and offers, in addition to fishing, great opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking/walking.
Rainbow trout are planted in the pond annually, and there is also a natural population of pike and perch.
Adjacent to Rapatjärn there is a large cabin with seating for 20 people. There is a gas stove and a diesel stove if it gets cold. There is also a wood-fired sauna nearby.
