Changed stocking plan 2026
The planned stocking in August (Åstjärn, Herrgårdstjärn, Uppgårdstjärn) is cancelled, we simply don't have the finances for it. We raised the card prices for this summer but we still see that we won't be able to balance the budget. New fishing rules for Åstjärn: The last stocking we do each year (sometime after Oct. 15) is primarily intended for ice fishing. Since the ice sets very late in some years, we have therefore changed the rules for Åstjärn, as a large part of the last stocking otherwise risks being fished out before ice fishing has had time to start.
- The following rules apply for Åstjärn from now on:
- In the period 15/10 - 31/3, it is only allowed to fish from the ice in Åstjärn.
New fishing license prices from 1/5 2026
Due to increased costs, we have had to increase our card prices, otherwise the alternative is that we have to reduce the amount of fish we release.
- Annual card Put-/take-water now costs 1500 SEK (previously 1000 SEK).
- Daily card Put-/take-water now costs 180 SEK (previously 150 SEK).
- Daily card Gnarpsån nedrera now costs 180 SEK (previously 150 SEK).
- The remaining fishing cards are priced unchanged.

- week 22:
- Rainbow trout in Herrgårdstjärn and Åstjärn.
- 2-year-old trout in Åstjärn and Igeltjärn.
- week 24 (11/6):
- Åstjärn 150 kg Rainbow trout.
- Herrgårdstjärn 300 kg Rainbow trout.
- Week 31 (30/7):
- Åstjärn 150kg Rainbow trout.
- Herrgårdstjärn 300 kg Rainbow trout.

- 250 kg Char - after 15/10. (postponement for icefish premiere in January, fishing ban from 16/10)
- Åstjärn:
- 100 kg Rainbow + 300 2-year-old trout - 2nd half of May..
- 150 kg Rainbow - just before midsummer.
- 150 kg Rainbow - mid-July.

- 250 kg Rainbow - after 15/10.
- Hedgehog:
- 300 2-year-old trout - 2nd half of May.

New fishing license rules for Uppgårdstjärn
To fish here, you can either buy a "other waters" fishing license or a "put/take" fishing license. We will continue to release Rainbow trout here, but this is entirely based on availability and whether it is possible for the fishing truck to get to the pond (some suppliers have large vehicles that cannot drive there). Plenty of both pike and roach in the pond means that we will continue to allow fishing even with a fishing license for "other waters".
Other info for our fishing waters
Within Gnarps Fishing Area there are some coastal rivers with migrating sea trout, of which Gnarpsån is the largest. The lower part of Gnarpsån offers good spring fishing for sea trout and is a fine grayling water along its entire length.
There are also 4 put- and take waters where rainbow trout, trout and char are released regularly. Of these, Herrgårdstjärn and Åstjärn are the most popular and here there are shelters, jetties and a heated cabin. At Igeltjärn and Uppgårdstjärn there are jetties/landings and shelters. There are also a number of streams/rivers with stationary trout and lakes/ponds with pike, perch, roach and brill. The area has a good supply of fish.
You will find many of the most popular sport fishing species with us: sea trout, rainbow trout, trout and grayling but of course also pike and perch plus a number of other species. The waters are excellent for fly and spin fishing, but also angling and various forms of winter fishing. Several ponds and lakes are easily accessible by car and present both excellent pike and perch fishing but also other sport fishing species.
Åstjärn and Herrgårdstjärn are equipped with windbreaks, barbecue areas and floating docks that are also easy to reach for wheelchair-bound anglers.
