Grangärde Fiskevårdsområdesförening (FVOF) sells fishing licenses to residents and holiday homes within the fishery management area as well as fishing license certificates to those with fishing rights.
Fishing licenses for non-residents in the area are referred to Grangärde fiske
Through its members, the association has access to scenic and fish-rich waters. By purchasing a fishing license, you contribute to the association's work to constantly improve fishing in the area. Some examples of what the association does: • Restoration of self-reproducing trout waters (Håjensån and Norrboån) • Contributes to the renewal of water bodies that promote fish migration in the waterways (Norrboån) • Creates crayfish populations in our larger lakes. Currently, the map does not show that Gammelgårdssjön is included, but it does.

Cards purchased from Grangärde FVOF do not entitle you to fishing in the following waters (special cards are purchased from Grangärde Fiske) • Övre Hedtjärn • Tanstjärn • Ljustjärn • Mellersta Gåltjärn • Sottjärn • Femöringen
The following waters may be rented out and then fishing licenses from Grangärde FVOF do not apply. Information about rentals is available on Grangärde Fiske's website and on signage by the waters: • Kytjärn • Knivsjön • Igeltjärn
No fishing for the public in the following waters: • Lilla Ångtjärn • Bredtjärn
A fishing ban currently applies in the following waters: • Håjensån • Norrboån
Regulations • Be careful with fire! • Do not litter. • Leave fishing spots and huts in the condition you wish to find them.
