Registration:
From June 7, you are welcome to buy your place for crayfish fishing in Delsjön and Sisjön 2023!
A card includes the loan of 6 nets and 2 nets as well as bait.
If you wish to fish from a boat, email kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se
If you have a valid Gula Kortet Annual Card purchased via iFiske, enter the password you received via email and you will receive a SEK 100 discount.
If you have bought a physical Gula card annual pass, you will receive a password if you email kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se
The number of cards is limited to 70 for each fishing opportunity in Delsjön and 40 in Sisjön for one fishing opportunity and it is first come, first served. If you choose to fish from a boat in Lake Delsjön, a boat rental of SEK 150 is added. Please note that we only have 6 boats, so registration is first come, first served - contact kraftfiske@sportfiskarna.se for your booking or if you have further questions.
On the fishing day (DELJÖRNA):
Fishing equipment and bait can be picked up at the front of Sportfiskarna's regional office at Sjölyckan 6.
The drop-off opens at 4pm and the equipment must be returned at the back of the office (the yellow house) in the garage downstairs no later than midnight. For each "card" the loan of 6 nets and 2 nets as well as bait is included. Own equipment and bait may not be used. You also get a measuring stick and a form with fishing rules and catch report to fill in. If you fill in the catch report online, please state the number of crayfish over and under 10cm.
When you pick up the equipment, you can also choose a fishing spot as long as it is available, it is first come, first served. Please note that you cannot reserve a place by going there in advance. To facilitate the distribution of places, Stora Delsjön is divided into fishing zones, see map . For fishing from a boat, zone 4 and zone 6 apply.
The anglers provide all the fishing equipment - but don't forget to bring your own flashlight, bucket for the catch and a knife to split the bait with.
Also keep in mind that the area is a nature reserve and that fires are only permitted in designated areas.
On the fishing day (LAKE SISJÖN):
Fishing equipment and bait can be picked up at the Scoutstugan by Sisjön . The drop off opens at 5pm and the equipment must be returned to the same location no later than 11.30pm . For each "card" the loan of 6 nets and 2 nets as well as bait is included. Own equipment and bait may not be used. You also get a measuring stick and a form with fishing rules and catch report to fill in.
To prevent it from getting too crowded, Lake Sisjön is divided into different fishing zones. When you pick up the equipment, you can choose a fishing zone as long as it is free, it is first come, first served. Please note that you cannot reserve a place by going there in advance.

Crab fishing tips:
# Look for hard bottom, preferably with stones and other places where the crayfish can hide.
# Be quick when pulling up the net, the crayfish can be nimble away if you are too slow.
# Don't shower too often, 2-3 times during the evening is enough. The crayfish become active after dark, so wait until then to spawn the first time.
Minimum size for approved crayfish is 10 cm .
