Outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World lies the beautiful and long, narrow lake Krön.
Krön is part of the Stångån water system. Here there are fine fishing waters for both beginners and experienced fishermen. On several occasions the year's largest pike-perch in Sweden has been caught in these waters. The lake is a 740-hectare and relatively shallow lake.
You can dock your boat at Karsnäs, signposted from road 826 with a sport fishing sign. Follow the instructions for parking etc. The boat docking area at Kröngården is closed during the swimming season
It is also possible to fish from the bridge at Sund, but be aware of safety as it is a busy road.
