Översjön

Översjön is a 50ha lake in the middle of the scenic Järvafältet. The most common fish species are perch, pike, and whitefish such as roach, bream, carp, rudd, etc. The minimum size for pike is 40 cm. Fishing is only permitted from land. When angling, 10 angling rods/person are permitted. NOTE: Applies only to members, not day passes. An ice fishing rod is permitted with a fishing license. Översjön often freezes early in the season and gives competitive anglers good training opportunities. The first ice fishing competitions of the year are often held here. Winter fishermen often catch small perch in the size of 10-100 g with a chance of really big bonus fish. Perch is caught pretty much equally well throughout the fishing area. Those who prefer pike fishing can choose to spin fish, angling or angling in the winter. You will rarely go without a catch. Spin fishermen find good fishing spots all around the lake, with the exception of a reed-covered bay in the southwestern part of the lake. Pike bite on most baits, wobblers, spoon lures and spinners work well. Nowadays, however, many people's favorite bait is the jig. Its advantage is that it does not get caught in reeds and seaweed as easily. In winter, you can often have a nice angling or ice fishing. Remember to release back the pikes that you do not want for the dinner table. Of course, provided that they are not injured. To avoid damaging the fish, you should not use a net or hook and avoid touching the fish with your hands. Those who like to fish will find plenty of small whitefish in the lake. But there are also larger fish, including large roach. Those who need bait fish can quickly catch small roach, roach, bream or roach.
