Övre Hoans FVOF

Stortjärnen, located about 1 mile south of Rätan, is our most popular fishing spot! Here, the pond is directly adjacent to the large parking lot and there is everything you could want around the pond. Barbecue areas, toilets, adapted ramps for functional variations, etc. Here we put in char, rainbow and trout, all depending on the season and availability of fish.
Here there is always a fishing premiere in December and it is usually the last Saturday before Christmas!

Fishing ban in Stortjärnen every year from the first Monday in October every year until the Fishing Premiere (which is usually Saturday the week before Christmas)

The floating card is an additional card to be able to use floating in Stortjärnen.
Fishing licenses are purchased separately.

Those interested in pike fishing in flowing water can also find this in the southern part of the river in our area. Brook pike are also found along the Hoan in the streams that flow into the Hoan.
Our lakes and ponds have plenty of coarse perch, whitefish and pike.

Horten is a large and incredibly beautiful lake with crystal clear water!
It is located approx. 13 km south of Rätan and the sign can be found after the E45.
Today, you can find rough trout, perch, pike and whitefish here. Even char may remain from before.
Boats are available for rent.
