NOTE! Fishing licenses are required for all anglers, all age groups.

Max 50 day licenses are sold per day. Please see the booking calendar for availability on the desired day. If fully booked, welcome back on another day.

Strict "catch & release" for all fishing licenses. No fish may be kept, regardless of species and condition. All fish must be released back carefully.

Fishing is only permitted between 06:00 and 22:00, every day.
On Thursday 14/5 (Ascension Day), the Trosametet will be arranged in Trosaån between 09:30-14:15. Please respect the competitors and do not fish in marked places. The only stretch that is open for fishing at the specified time is about 300 m below Trosa mill and up to Vagnhärad. On competition day, Catch & release is the exception for the boys, who keep their catch for weighing.

Other information: The fishing route is about 8 km long and offers opportunities for angling, fly-casting, spinning, etc. In the Trosaån there are over 20 different species of fish, with the opportunity to catch sea trout, as the crowning glory.
The route has varied terrain and down in the community of Trosa there are good opportunities for those who have a little more difficulty getting around; disabled people have good opportunities to take advantage of fishing in central Trosa, where there are good walkways to and along the river.
Good parking options are available in Vagnhärad center, Trosa center and in Trosa harbor.
Toilets are available at the eastern harbor level, and in the summer also at the western harbor level.
