When you fish "for free", you follow the usual rules within Vegeåns FVO. This fishing license (free) needs to be purchased for each day fishing takes place.
This daily pass can be purchased by those under 18 years of age even during the first 14 days of March when a seasonal pass is usually required for fishing in the river.

Season ticket - Sea trout season - 1/3 - 30/9
This fishing license gives you the opportunity to fish in the river during the entire period that fishing for sea trout is allowed. You are of course allowed to fish for other species besides sea trout as well. Season tickets give you the opportunity to fish for sea trout during the prime fishing season the first 14 days of March.
