



Rörvattnet-Skogsjö fvo is located on the border between mountains and forests, which creates an inspiring environment for fishing and other activities.
The area offers lake fishing in Rörvattnet, Lillkingen and Storkingen, stream fishing in Ansättån and Grubbdalsån and a variety of fishing in ponds both in the forest and near the mountains such as Nedre lilla Stensjön. From midsummer, long-line fishing or fishing with streamers for large trout in Rörvattnet and Storkingen is recommended. The ponds in the area offer nice rod fishing for trout such as Bustadtjärn, Tallsjön, Skogsjön and Stortjärn. A new boat launch for Lockringen is located along the road to Ansättåns Canyon. There is water here for all types of fishermen; for those who want a challenge, for those who want peace and quiet, for those who want easy fishing or want to catch fish often.
A real challenge is fishing in Långtjärn, where large trout weighing a kilo and more can be seen watching and jumping in the water. Part of the challenge here is finding the right bait for the day; worm, spinner or fly? In winter, ice fishing for char on the lakes Rörvattnet, Storkingen and Skogsjön is a pleasant experience, where the chance of getting a really nice char on the hook is high.
Most of the waters in the area are easily accessible via forest roads. Thanks to the large amount of water, you rarely have to crowd with others. Many of the waters have shelters and barbecue areas. Information boards and marked paths guide the fisherman right within the area.
