Krångfors FVO is located 20 km upstream of Skellefteå city center and manages fishing from the village of Dal up to Finnforsfallet.
Fishing is primarily conducted in the regulated Skellefteälven for perch, pike, trout and grayling. Grayling and trout are fished with advantage in the stretches of stream downstream of the power plants and especially grayling fishing can be really good at times. Directed fishing for trout is mainly done downstream of Granfors power station where some nice trout are taken annually. Fishing for pike has increased in recent years in the river and 10+ pike are regularly caught within Krångfors FVO.
The river contains both freshwater pearl mussels and freshwater crayfish, where fishing for freshwater crayfish is only open to fishing right holders and residents within the FVO. Please follow us on Facebook!
