Lake Snyten is located in Norberg's municipality in Bergslagen. It has an area of about 3 square kilometers and is as deep as 24m.
The eastern edge of the lake is directly adjacent to the area ravaged by the great forest fire in 2014 (the largest fire in Sweden in modern times).
