Lake Snyten is located in the municipality of Norberg in Bergslagen. It has an area of approximately 3 square kilometers and is 24m deep at its deepest.
The eastern edge of the lake is directly adjacent to the area that was ravaged by the great forest fire of 2014 (the largest fire in Sweden in modern times).
During the winter of 2025, FVO created 5 rice vases that are marked with cans and visible on the map on ifiske.
