Stora Le has good fishing, mainly for perch and pike. There are quite a few pike perch that live pelagically, and therefore both perch and pike can stay along exposed ground, often adjacent to deeper water.
There are also a lot of wild trout here, which can get quite large in places. The lake has clear water and is more than a hundred meters deep.
For those looking for more bays and archipelagos, the northern parts of the fisheries conservation area are the right choice.
The areas outside Rävmarken can offer some varying depths and exciting places.
The Southern Stora Le Fisheries Conservation Area Association was formed in the spring of 2026 and manages fishing in large parts of Lake Stora Le from Dals-Ed in the south up to the Bomarken border according to the map available. Stora Le is a deep and clear fissure valley lake with magnificent surroundings. Many of the freshwater fish are found here and also a small population of brown trout.
The association's goal is to manage fishing for fishing water owners and offer fishing licenses to the public according to current regulations.
NOTE: Some water areas are excluded from the fisheries conservation area and fishing is prohibited there. See our map.
Warm welcome to Stora Le.
