Solarens FVO

The sun is a lake, beautifully situated in northern Vimmerby municipality in Kalmar county. The solarium is part of Bottorpsström's main catchment area, which opens into the Baltic Sea.

It is a lake with mostly sand bottoms and a good water quality. It is situated on about 125 m above sea level, and its size is about 3 km2, its depth is about 15-20 meters. It is peacefully and quietly situated, mainly surrounded by barrsk forest.

The lake has a good supply of perch, pike but also an increasing stock of pike.
