Sales of this year's 2025 crayfish fishing license begin on Monday, July 28th, and fishing begins on Friday, August 8th.
This year, anglers are selling tickets to the following lakes: Trehörningen, Långsjön, Sickalsjön, Flaten and Söderbysjön.
Fishing is permitted on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Crayfish fishing permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with 4 permits sold per day and lake.

Fishing tips
Do not place the tools deeper than 1.5 m.
Find a hard bottom, preferably with rocks and other hiding places for the crayfish.
The crayfish can often hide under trees that have fallen into the water. Fish near these but be careful not to get your net caught.
Be quick when you pull up the net, the crayfish can quickly swim away if you are too slow.
Don't have too little bait, or the crayfish may eat it and climb out of the cages.
Change/refill bait after an hour or so, crayfish are better attracted to fresh and fragrant bait.

How many fishing gears are allowed?
Answer: The rules state 5 nets and 5 cages, you are also allowed to fish with 10 nets but never more than 5 cages.
The total number of tools is a maximum of 10.

Answer: No, the fishing license is valid for the day it was purchased for, even if the weather is bad.
How long is the fishing license valid for?
Answer: Fishing is valid from 00.01 to 24.00 on the date the card is purchased.
How many crayfish can I catch?
Answer: 50 is the maximum catch, the minimum size of the crayfish is 10 cm, measured from head to tail.
