Sales of this year's crayfish fishing license 2025 begin on Monday, July 28th and fishing begins on Friday, August 8th. This year, anglers are selling licenses for the following lakes: Trehörningen, Långsjön, Sickalsjön, Flaten and Söderbysjön. Fishing is allowed on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Crayfish fishing licenses are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with 4 licenses sold per day and lake.

Be quick when you pull up the net, the crayfish can quickly swim away if you are too slow. Don't have too little bait, as the crayfish can eat it up and climb out of the cages. Change/refill the bait after an hour or so, crayfish are better attracted to fresh and fragrant bait.
