Sales of this year's crayfish fishing license begin on Monday, July 24, and fishing premieres on Friday, August 4.
The anglers are selling tickets to the following lakes this year: Trehörningen, Långsjön, Sickalsjön, Flaten and Söderbysjön.
Fishing may be conducted on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Lobster fishing cards are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, 4 cards are sold per day and lake.
For these lakes, a Special Crab Fishing License is required.

Fishing tips
Do not place implements deeper than 1.5 m.
Find hard bottom, preferably with rocks and other hiding places for the crayfish.
The crayfish can often hide under trees that have fallen into the water, fish in connection with these but be careful that the net does not get stuck.
Be quick when pulling up the net, the crayfish can quickly swim away if you are too slow.
Do not have too little bait, then the crayfish can eat and climb out of the cages.
Change/replenish the bait after an hour or so, the crayfish are better attracted by a fresh and fragrant bait.

How many gears are you allowed to fish with?
Answer: The rules specify 5 nets and 5 cages, you may also fish with 10 nets but never more than 5 cages.
Total number of tools is a maximum of 10.
Can I change the day on the fishing license?
Answer: No, the fishing license is valid for the day it was purchased for, even if the weather turns bad.
How long is the fishing license valid for?
Answer: Fishing is valid from 00.01 to 24.00 on the date you bought the card.
How many crayfish can I pick up?
Answer: 50 pieces is the maximum catch, the minimum size of the crayfish is 10 cm, the size is measured from head to tail.
