Welcome to Mjölby FVO - Svartån and Skogssjön!
In Svartån, there are plenty of different fish species, among others. very big ferry that provides fantastic challenges and fun fishing. Pike, perch and various kinds of white fish are also plenty. Svartån attracts many specimen meters around the country for their excellent opportunities for record fishing.
In the Skogssjön , especially rowdy and large pike can be mentioned as challenging fishing opportunities. The forest lake is also suitable for fly fishing. Some places offer the opportunity to wade out.
During spring / summer you can rent a boat in Skogssjön. Five boats are available. This is provided by Preem in Mjölby.
Mjölby Fiskevårdsförening also plants trout and rainbow salmon every year in Svartån and Skogssjön.
The catch of noble fish is allowed with a number of a maximum of 3 noble fish per day.
Only in company with a keeper / adult / person who holds a valid fishing license (on his quota)

Mjölby Fishery Management Association manages Mjölby municipality's fishing waters. The intention is to manage the fishing waters as they are with the original species and via planting rainbow salmon and trout to increase the quality of the fishing.
Every year, Mjölby Fish Conservation Association plants trout and rainbow salmon in Svartån and in Skogssjön and is distributed on three to four occasions annually. The first in connection with the Svartå premiere in April, the second in May before the premiere in Skogssjön and another one to two during the second half of the year in these waters.
