Tidans nedre FVOF

The area is limited towards Lake Vänern by an imaginary line between the outermost tip of the harbour pier and west towards Ekudden, then the area goes upstream all the way to the E20 bridge over the Tidanån. The prohibition signs against access to the dam facilities at Mariefors and Kvarnen must be respected. There is a lot of fish throughout the area. Mention can be made of the pike that migrates from Lake Vänern to spawn in the lower streams and it is a local population that returns every year to spawn (see the regulations that apply). Perch and Pike are common. Then we have a very good population of Asp that returns to spawn every year (see the regulations that apply). Whitefish such as Roach, Bream, Tench, Id, Björkna and Tench are common.
