Welcome to Giertsbäckens Fvo We offer a varied fishing in the two-kilometer-long Giertsjaur, lower and upper Giertsbäcken and an exclusive special stretch that sells on special cards. Giertsbäcken has good stocks of trout and grayling. Fly fishing is usually best in early summer when the spring flood has subsided.

Giertsbäckens fiskevårdsområde bildades 2014.
Föreningen förvaltar fisket inom Giertsbäckens fiskevårdsområde.
Området består av samfällt fiske inom Bergnäs, Forsbacka, Hölidens och Klippens skifteslag inom Sorsele kommun i Västerbottens län.
Syfte är att samordna fiskets bedrivande och fiskevården, att främja fiskerättsinnehavarnas gemensamma intressen med beaktande av de föreskrifter som gäller för fiskets utövande samt att upplåta fiske till allmänheten.
