Harmångers Fishing Area is located in northern Hälsingland and satisfies many different tastes when it comes to sport fishing. The nationally renowned sea trout fishing in the spring is just part of the offer. The area contains lakes, ponds and flowing waters, all with a good supply of fish. You will find many of the most popular sport fishing species with us: sea trout, rainbow trout, brown trout and grayling but of course also pike and perch plus a number of other species.
The waters are excellent for fly and spin fishing, but also angling and various forms of winter fishing. Several lakes are easily accessible by car and present both excellent pike and perch fishing, but also other sport fishing species. The fishing area is also responsible for two "put- and take" ponds where both rainbow trout and brown trout are regularly stocked. And only 1 extra fishing license per day
Långtjärn is a unique facility with good service and where fishing is also partially handicap-friendly.
Wind shelters, barbecue areas and floating docks are also easily accessible for wheelchair-bound anglers. The large parking lot welcomes caravans and is located next to the facility's card machine.
There is a sign at the E4 just south of Harmånger. The nationally renowned sea trout fishing in the lower reaches of the Harmångersån River usually starts during the Easter weekend and the season usually extends until midsummer.
The Harmångersån River, which also offers a variety of other species, is easily accessible on both sides, from the protected zone below the Hammar Bridge in Strömsbruk all the way down to the sea.
