Near-urban fishing for sea trout, including Gådeån and Helgumsån, as well as Nässjön.
Fishing in the rivers is open: Fishing in the rivers is open annually from April 10 to September 14. Closed for spawning until October 15. Fishing in Nässjön is open all year round.
It is close to town, but another thing that is fun about this water is that the Helgums and Gådeåån fisheries management area is restoring it to improve the conditions for sea trout and its reproduction in particular.
The trail following Gådeån is a popular walking and recreational trail. The area includes the popular Gådeåleden (5.5km) which is signposted and has barbecue areas, shelters, benches and other experiences such as historical sites, a viewing tower and a butterfly bed.
