Hertsöträsket is located close to the residential area of Hertsön. In recent years, both char and rainbow salmon have been planted there. But there are also perch and pike here.
By the lake there are walking paths as well as cabins, shelters and picnic areas. Several hundred meters of ramps have been built around the lake so there are good opportunities for people with disabilities to get out to the lake, for example with a wheelchair.
