The Lagaleden Trail stretches 150 km from Lake Bolmen in Småland out to the sea in Laholm Bay. You choose how long you want to paddle. If you don't have your own canoe, there are canoe rentals along the trail. The canoe rental companies offer canoe transport to/from the start or finish.
Regardless of which route you choose, a fantastic nature experience awaits. As you glide along the water, a varied nature awaits you and the opportunity to see many wild animals and a rich birdlife.
Along the Lagaleden Trail there are around 30 campsites in the municipalities of Laholm, Ljungby and Markaryd. They are marked with signs depicting a canoe and a tent. These have garbage cans, toilets, a prepared fireplace, in some places there is firewood and in many places an overnight shelter.
If you are going to spend the night at the campsite, you pay a fee online via iFiske. The price for an overnight stay is 50:-/person.
