The area consists of Lake Malgomaj with its tributaries. The fishing license area extends from Lövnäs village to Malgovik. Lake Malgomaj offers fishing for char, rainbow trout, trout, grayling, whitefish, roach, pike, perch and roach. Canadian char and inland salmon were introduced many years ago.
Fishing
Fishing in the lake is practiced both from ice and during the ice-free season. A large number of large char are caught every year in Lake Malgomaj. Fish of 3–4 kg are not uncommon and catches of around 7–9 kg have also been reported. Grayling can also be found along certain shorelines where it can be reached with a fly.
Warning
Remember that the ice can be treacherous and that Malgomaj is a regulated lake.

The fishing license area extends from the village of Lövnäs to the Malgovik FVO area boundary. The area consists of Lake Malgomaj with its tributaries. The area is easily accessible with Vildmarksvägen on the southern side and Hornsjövägen on the northern side of Lake Malgomajsjön. A number of barbecue/rest areas have been prepared where information and some services will also be available. See the location on the map. Signage of access roads to Lake Malgomajsjön will also be carried out. Possibility of accommodation and access to a boat. Accommodation is available for rent in the teacher's residence, Rönnäs old school. A substantial boat, 6.1 m, with a 9.9 hp outboard motor is also available for rent. You can also rent an electric motor.
